Fake Rain

So I've been playing for about a week and it's been raining nonstop since I've started. I recently noticed that in battle the script saying "it is raining" does not appear and my fire attacks seem to be doing normal damage. I think the rain animation is constantly going despite what the weather actually is. Anything I can do to fix it?

it's suppose to lower fire attack damage, and it's suppose to increase water attack damage.

Are you SURE the weather is not WINDY?

I'm sure it's not just windy because I've even changed the date on my computer several times hoping to fix the problem and it still shows rain.

Sometimes the animation doesn't change if you don't leave the area or sometimes you have to enter and exit a building. If this still doesn't change it, it is probably just a graphical error.

The rain has been there since I started the game and now I'm at Beryl Ward so changing location hasn't worked yet

Weather shouldn't be displayed for more than a week and if you're not just moving locations, but going in and out of buildings too then it's your game file. All you can do is hope Amethyst can fix it, or restart your game I guess. I'm kinda in the same issue right now with an invisible wall blocking my only path forward.
