cleave1ce 0 Posted September 29, 2019 Share Posted September 29, 2019 Hey all, I've been away from this game for so long (started back in ep9 years ago), finally decided to pick it back up and start over at ep18 and I noticed much have changed. Let me cut to the chase, During battle (since early game) sometimes I notice our pokemon or the foe's sustain damage where they should not have. This happens to multi hit moves like pin missile, double slap, fury swipe etc the HP bar goes down during the animation AND after the animation, I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended effect. Also sometimes certain status effect that should not have triggered damage will cut down HP slightly, however this isn't consistent so far. Status effect like PAR sometimes shave a few points off the HP bar when they trigger. Sometimes even confusion minus some points off the HP bar before the pokemon hit itself from confusion. To summarize this; at times we (and enemy) receive damage that's not supposed to happen although it's only little. Consequences? Not much since the damage is quite minor but it does effect our ability to clutch by the skin of our teeth. For example, if a pokemon with Sturdy is hit with strong move like thunderpunch that leaves it PARALYZED. It may go down to 1 hp, during its turn it trigger PAR and cannot move and instantly dies. Not that it matters :( it's as good as dead anyway but it's a wasted turn you can still exploit with that 1 hp pokemon as meat shield. Link to post Share on other sites
