PKMN disappear in the PC

Hi everyone !

I don't know if this is the good place for it, but I've noticed quite a big problem playing !

If you're in the PC holding a PKMN and press cancel (in the PKMN menu), you exit the PC and the PKMN simply disappear !

I think my dear Drifblim is lost forever, RIP :'( !

It's not a bug(or so I presume....) It's more of a "shortcut" if you don't want to "Release" the pokemon and say "Bye-bye [Pokemon]". That's why in the regular games when you try to cancel while holding a pokemon it will say "You can't cancel out! You're holding a Pokemon!" So try to be careful next time I guess >.<

I'm happy this was posted. I haven't ran into the issue yet but now I know it is there and can look out for it. I'm sorry for your disappearing Pokemon. At least it wasn't your starter.

yeah I lost three pokemon, porygon, castcoon, and I just noticed my hoothoot..... I been saving before I use the pc just in case

This is a great idea. Save game before, double check after you are done with pc, and go on your way! Better safe than sorry!

I've heard about this a number of times, but I -still- haven't been able to reproduce the error. It always tells me I can't cancel because I'm holding a Pokemon. Does it not say that for others?

I just tested myself, I'm having no such error. The only error I've been having as of late is the entire screen aside from objects like trees going completely black. All I have to do though is save and reload the game and that's fixed. 9 & 9.5 haven't really given me any issues.

It still happens for me in 9.5. What I did was pick up a pokemon, click 'c' again, and scroll down the options to cancel, then click on that and the pokemon disappears with no warning.

Edit: It only gives you the warning if you try to press 'x' when you're holding a pokemon to back out.
