Tried to transfer a new save file from desktop to laptop, now i cant save

Hello everyone. As the title says, I started a new save game on my desktop PC, and just tried to transfer it over to my laptop, so I can grind and such. However, upon attempting to save, I get the following error: 

This didn't happen  in my last playthrough, and I am at a loss as to how to correct the issue. Any help is much appreciated! For reference, here's the save file in question:

Well it did run smoothly on my end. Are there different versions on your pc or laptop? Or try to redownload the game and replace the old.

I just tried a fresh reinstall, no luck. Still getting the same error

Try using the same script from PC, or mine.

Alright, I'll give it a whirl. This might be a dumb question, but what should I use to open the file?

Just replace it in the data folder from the game.

Still nothing, the game still crashes and throws out that same error

Weird. Sadly I can't of another methop to help at the moment. For the crash get the sripts.rxdata from the downloaded game again and replace it.

It's all good, thank you so much for the responses. It still works on my home PC at least, so I'm not totally barred from playing the game.
