I have continued to look up walkthrough after walkthrough to find out that I have been doing the right thing all along and the lava wont drain. I smash the pillars the correct way/order and the lava never drains in the first room. I am so frustrated... Link to post Share on other sites
48masterplay 4 Posted August 5, 2019 Share Posted August 5, 2019 Maybe you're overlooking something? Objective: You need to drain the lava all the way to the most bottom floor. There's multiple layers of lava to drain down so you're gonna have to repeat the process for a bit. If a wild mon appears after you smash pillar, you need to defeat it to sucessfully smash the pillar. Link to post Share on other sites

Multiple mons have appeared and I have defeated them everytime and the pillar breaks, but no lava drains. Whenever I break the east pillar I don't even get a message that I broke it or that lava is draining. Link to post Share on other sites

So it wasn't working because I hadn't encountered the Victoria and Kiki scene, but the guide I was following told me to go and...I'm just gonna play my game.
