Ok, so

I have run into an issue

I don't believe that this is exclusive to ep18, however, me being the dumbass I am

Have managed to softlockr myself in the game.

I am at the part where Meteor comes and storms Fiore Mansion. And I lost against the second double battle against Fern and Blake. Normally not a problem, you can go and grind and beat them.

But guess where my dumbass decided to have saved last

At the healer in the mansion. 

So when I leave my tiny little room, it starts the cutscene and two battles.

I thought I could try, but I was, and am, out of healing items, so it's not happening.

Not to mention I can't even try anymore, as I am almost out of common candies as well.

Any ideas how to fix this? Can post my team and PC if needed.

I really love this game, and I'd have to restart after being about 110 hours in

If nothing else, you can always revert to a backup save from before the mansion gauntlet
