Thanks. I'm thrilled to know there's an Infernape crest, I've been wondering what to give my starter, been holding to a white herb throughout the game.

 

I haven't said yes yet, meaning I'm not locked in to the mission and can explore. I couldn't find that dive spot tho, could someone help a brother out?

Patches aren't used to update past versions. They're mainly for people who already downloaded the new version and want the latest fixes.

So update I got the Infernape quest. I have to add that the Goomidra questline was one of the most hilarious sidequest ever and thoroughly enjoyed it.

 

However, the reward is disappointing behind measure - what in the world is the Infernape Crest???? Especially after the monstrosity that was the Torterra Crest? You can't do this to me Jan agghghgh

PS: Just to make sure, it swaps Attack and Defense? So now I have a defensive Infernape? Is that it?

I don't have the Torterra crest yet, so I can't tell you.

 

But if you fought Flora/Ryland his Torterra hold a crest which swaps its weaknesses and resistances - meaning Ice types do 1/4 damage to it, as opposed to the 4x it usually does.

I don’t know if you guys realized but all the gen 4 pokemon evolved starters have crest but seeing that Gen 1 and 3 have mega evolutions I think it seems fair, I wonder what will be instore for the rest of generation starters

First crest is for finishing virtual badge quest, you are getting the crest for the starter you picked. The other 2 you can buy from kecleon shop on route 2. 100k each i think. The Feraligatr one is great, but we also got life orb in v12, and its just too good with sheer force

Ooh ok and speaking about vendors you can get three crest at the vendor in The kingdom of Goomidra

I jus did some digging around and found out that those three starter crest were in v11 at the kecleon shop for $250,000 but for v12 one crest location was changed

you need to complete the zorrialyn labyrith, then you need finish the v12 content, then go to Alamissa Urben, to find karen knocked out just by the front sign, she says some stuff, then go to the bottom of the now completed labyrith and go up and interact with the door and it should open if you have finished all the things, go in and look around the castle there are heaps of crests there and one of them is the torterra crest

oh ok. can't you just add a download that only contains the files that need to be updated? also haveing to download files that weren't changed just makes the download size larger than it needs to be....

it's a lot harder to do this than it sounds, plus it's very easy to miss something when putting together a patch like that. the safest method so people don't run into problems is redownloading the entire game.

Infernape Crest.

Bulk Up TM.

Goomy.

Pawniard.

Solosis.

Wild Ditto encounter.

Access to 4 new crests in the village shop.

 

Even if you didn't like the Infernape Crest, you get a ton of things here.

 

Infernape didn't need a crest, it's already good, so for Pokemon like that (Who usually end up in a trio or duo) we switch playstyles up. Infernape Crest is actually quite useful with Slack Off.

Huh, I see. Had no idea about rewards as I bolted out the door the moment I got the Infernape crest, as my sole reason was to get that crest in the first place for my starter before I finished the V12 story (mind you, I was going to come back to do the whole quest later but you get what I mean). And because he's my starter he's been with me the longest so I have a decided moveset and everything, so you can understand that it was quite the shock to know my shiny Iron Fist Close Combat Mach Punch ThunderPunch Infernape had to turn defensive all of a sudden.

 

Nevertheless that information is useful and I can understand why you proceeded that route.

 

And thanks for the tip. Never knew Infernape had recovery options.

Just want to know but is this playable without any game-breaking bugs or should I wait for a patch to download it? Just saw V12 was released and I want to start a new game. I am on a fairly slow Internet for a few weeks so I can't be bothered downloading multiple instances, just want a file that runs without any huge issues.

One request jan. Don't let Melia fall for the MC, it would be rather nice if she goes with Ren. Ren really tried a lot, but melia seems to be more inclined to the MC. It would be injustice to Ren. Or please give us the option to change the fate of this event

Your completely wrong it would be so much better for Melia to fall for the Mc if Jan every plans to do so, Melia And the Mc have been through to much for her to end up with Ren, The Mc and Melia have more in common

You've completely right...it's strange that we get relationship points and we'll obtain nothing.

Plus,I noticed that MC starts to speak without choices(in v12 when the MC remain locked in a room with a Bladestar Grunt,or that "phenomenon" when he is close to the mysterious villa and he has visions)

There's no romance with the player. I've said it many times. Relationships are not inherently romantic. Relationships could mean family and friends. In this case, it just means how strong your friendship is.
