Can't play Reborn

I wanted to replay Reborn, so I started a new game, by changing the name of the game.rdx file. This playthrough was working fine but i was running into some lag, and turned the number of backups down to 30 (from 51). This obviously did not stop the problem, and I ended up rebooting my laptop to try and fix the lag. I saved before doing this. However, once I restarted the game I was unable to play. Ill attach a picture of the messages that show up when trying to open Reborn. Also, I have no idea how to get back to my original playthrough, which means quite a lot to me with a lot of shinies, the completed story, and over 250 hours played. Please help me, thank you. And one final thing, I could not get the security question right when trying to create an account, the fourth word question? So if anyone could help me fix any of these problems I would greatly appreciate it.

Looks like your save file got corrupted

here is the guide on how to use backups etc

now to reach your original save file - you should rename it to Game.rxdata

I'm afraid neither of these worked. I moved all Game.rxdata to a different folder, then renamed the highest numbered to Game.rxdata but when opening reborn, the exact same problems occured. Is there anyway I could post my game here so that you could experiment? (My computer isn't that great for this stuff)

it wouldn't let me add any newer ones, so thats the newest on my preferred game, and none of the others seem to be workings, it claims that i can only upload 501 KB even though they newer files are ~340 KB. Thank you for your help

I replaced the current file with that one and im still running into the same problem? Could it be a problem with my computer, and if so would moving my files into a different folder then deleting and redownloading reborn work to fix it?

Hard drive test? And if I move the backups out and then back to save game they should be good or leave them in saved game? Also I delete the file reborn is in right? (I really don’t want to screw anything up more)

Just delete reborn folder not saved game and install new one

If that doesn't work run chkdsk command in the command prompt to see if hard drive is having issues (assuming your running Windows if not let me know)

i tried chkdsk in the prompt, but it didn't seem to work, told me i didn't have access and something about elevated mode?

Did you run as administrator? It's to check if hard drive is failing idk about the second

I don't understand the question. I simply opened up the command prompt and typed in the command. And after deleting and redownloading reborn multiple times, i dont think thats gonna work

Run as administrator is a command in command prompt it gives you access to do things like chkdsk

Here's a link on how to do it
