Natsukashii 2
So, I really don't know what happened, but it appears that one of my Pokemon's stats has gone absolutely through the roof. I don't know what caused it, but I'd like to somehow return it to normal. In any other game, I wouldn't care too much, but half of the reason I came to this game is for the difficulty (other half being the story), and this is kinda game breaking. At this point the only options I can think of are breeding a new one and releasing the bugged one while hoping the new ones stats aren't also bugged, or revert the stat to normal myself (which I don't really know how to do..) For context, I've got a Liepard that gains upwards of +2500 points in defense every level up. Kinda wanted to train a dark type for the upcoming area, and Liepard stood out to me, but did not want this whatsoever. The bugged stat is Defense, currently at 114000 at level 45, and it's defense EVs are.. off the screen. Somehow. There's just a lot of numbers. What can I do about this? Natsukashii 2
Er, never mind, fixed the problem myself? For anyone who may get the same bug: I closed the game and reopened it, checked the EVs (now they were at 0), got into a battle, ran away, and now my defense is at 55, which seems very normal for a 0 Defense EV, 1 Defense IV Liepard. I'm very confused as to how this happened, but I'm glad it's resolved.
kithas 118
Just out of curiosity, was that an interface error or did you try and checked your Liepard had actually 114000 for Defense?
Natsukashii 2
I think it may have been an interface error, if that's the proper term? It said that it did have that much defense, but I took normal damage in battle, so I guess I didn't? I dunno, the whole issue has just confused me at this point.
Walpurgis 501
I'm glad to hear that you were able to fix it, but it might be worth looking into it. Do you remember the last things you did right before it happened?
