DrizztLink 0
To preempt, I can fix this by doing a full re-installation, but it has happened about 4 times now and that's getting old. Most recently, I finished the fight with the older gentleman who is telling you not to continue north in Lapis to avoid seeing the "scene" after beating the third Leader. The game abruptly closed, and it changed the icon for the launcher to the icon listed in the first below picture. Clicking said icon loads the Notepad file shown in the second below picture. Save files are still fine and don't appear to be the issue. I tried rebooting and re-downloading RGSS-RTP per what Google recommended, but so far the only fix is re-installation. Should I just get used to having to re-install, or is there a fix I am missing?

Probably some kind of antivirus, redownload the game (or decompress again if you still have the compressed file) and look into a way to make an exention for the game so the antivirus doesn't keep deleting it. DrizztLink 0
As a new addendum: As it turns out, every time I accidentally full-screen the game by hitting Alt+Enter (which happens much more often than I would like to admit) it does this exact thing. Presumably it has something to do with how it re-sizes my file windows at the same time. I have no idea what to do about that.
