Lars180 0 Posted July 28, 2013 Share Posted July 28, 2013 Hello fellow reborn players, since this is my first post (kinda lame to make a troubleshooting post your first) i'd like to introduce myself real quick. My name is Lars, im 17 and from the Netherlands, favourite pokemon game is pokemon Sapphire by far. ^^ Now to the troubleshooting part, i've been playing pokemon reborn just fine on both episode 8 and 9 releases untill today. While playing, i engaged a trainer around the team aqua hangout (im at the 3rd gym :/ ), while batteling him i noticed something strange: there was no background and the text was out of sync with the attacks or actions i preformed. After i'd beaten the trainer, i saved my game and restarted the game, hoping it would fix the desync. Turns out it ruined my save file in some way :S Whatever i tried, i have not been able to fix the error. I included the screens that pop up after i click continue on my save game , the other one appears when i click OK. Does anyone know what's wrong? Any help would be much appreciated, but i would rather not throw my save game away *sadface* With regards, Lars Link to post Share on other sites

Unfortunately, this might be one of those few situations in which I can't help. :x I can't edit the save data without being in-game to begin with which means if it doesn't load then my options are few... You can try redownloading, and you can try sending your data to me just in case it for some reason opens on a different machine, but to be honest I wouldn't expect much from either of those things. I am so sorry this happened. It's really frustrating for both of us, because obviously you're losing your data, and then I can't even reproduce this error to even guess at why it would happen. Was anything strange before that battle started fizzing out? Did the save process afterwards say that it finished all right? Link to post Share on other sites
Lars180 0 Posted July 29, 2013 Author Share Posted July 29, 2013 As bad as it is i appreciate the help, Before the battle everything seemed allright, the only change was that the game turned night time just then. Unless a night-time only event materialised right on top of you or anything. Then that might be awkward. Nothing like that? Or maybe it was the backdrop of the thing- the program had to choose between twilight and night backgrounds right as it started and it... did it twice? Idk... I'm really grasping at straws here. Lars180 0 Posted July 30, 2013 Author Share Posted July 30, 2013 Thanks for the help, maybe that's something for the future? ^^ Nickaboo92 was nice enough to provide me with a save file just before the point i was at, so im happy Only problem is i have different pokemon now, but i'll get used to that.
