I Can't Save my game

So after I downloaded episode 9 I started to receive the error message when I try to save, Script 'Pokemon Options' Line 290: TypeError Occured. Cannont convert Nil into string.

Okay, I've created a dummy version of Episode 8. Load your file, change your options to set the frames to 1, touch nothing but the lamp, save, and then it should be playable with the real Episode 9.

Basically, load up, change the frames in options menu, save. The reason I say don't do anything else is- because well, once you're in game, you might notice that the maps look like utter vomit if you're in that dummy program. If you move around, there's a chance you could end up somewhere that doesn't exist when you continue in Episode 9. Or something like that. But saving is necessary.
