I updated the game to Episode 9 and every time I attempt to talk to someone or save my game, an error message shows up, stating "Script 'PokemonOptions' line 290: TypeError occurred. cannot convert nil into String."What can I do to fix this? Okay, I have an idea about this, but it's gonna require you guys to have the Episode 8 thing Between episode 8 and 9 the window frame and speech frames were changed, and it seems like this error happens whenever a message box appears. So my idea is- load up the Episode 8 thing if you have it still, and go into options, and choose a different (probably the default??) window/speech frame things. Then see if the Episode 9 ones work. Irokex 0 Posted July 26, 2013 Author Share Posted July 26, 2013 When you try to get to the options, the same thing happens!! :/ You have to change stuff back to Episode 8, change the settings back to their default stuff, save the game, and then update to Episode 9. Link to post Share on other sites
