Nickaboo92 0
I'm currently grinding in the Hidden Cove/having my Lilipup pick up a bunch of items/trying to find a freaking Poliwag, and every once in a while, when I one-shot a Ducklett, it will say "It's Super-Effective!" and then it will cut to the Hidden Cove without showing the fainting animation or awarding me my EXP. It's not a huge deal, just thought I'd bring it up if it hasn't been already.
Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted July 25, 2013 Administrators Share Posted July 25, 2013 * Is it only Ducklett that this happens? * Does this happen regardless of what Pokemon you use?
Nickaboo92 0
It happened with a Weepinbell as well, and I'll try using something other than Luxray right now and check. I'll also check another area. EDIT: It could very well just be the 2x speedhacks I'm running
Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted July 25, 2013 Administrators Share Posted July 25, 2013 That's also weird. See if disabling that changes it.
Nickaboo92 0
Okay, so after one-shotting 50 Pokemon* in the Opal Ward with Luxray, Flygon, and Ninetails, here's my findings: It happened twice with Luxray Zero times with Flygon Zero times with Ninetails The instances were independent of when Lillipup's Pickup ability occurred, so it's unlikely that it has something to do with it. It wasn't exclusive to Hidden Cove, as it happened in the Opal Ward. It happened regardless of whether or not Speedhacks were activated. It only happened with OHKOs, but it didn't have to be super-effective. So... It might just be a Luxray thing? I don't know. *150 Pokemon were harmed throughout this science experiment. Bereft 0
This actually happened to me once with an Unown, but I thought nothing of it
Rosesong 25
It's happened to me, but I didn't one shot the Pokémon. It was already weak, and I switched to another on my team to finish it, and got no EXP.
Bollayt 0
Happened to me as well with the voltorbs of the first gym leader. I may have lost that match and had to rebattle her and still didn't get the exp for the voltorbs, but I didn't get it for the electrode as well this time. I don't know with which pokemon I beat them, so sorry about the lack of information there.
neoblue107 0
Happens to me sometimes during trainer battles... Corey's Trubbish, Skuntank and Grimer didn't give me any EXP at all for beating them xD
Drunk Cow 0
Happens to me beating wild Stunkys with any Pokemon and beating Julia's Electrode with my Marshstomp, I did gain xp while killing it with my Kadabra though.
Deadpoolfan 0
This happens sometimes with my Shiny Golem. The opponent's pokemon sprite will stay there after it faints and he won't gain any exp, but if I switch him out he will get exp. Only started happening in Episode 9. DarkShaman667 0
I don't get any exp when Geodude finishes opponent with Smack Down. Opponent doesn't matter, location doesn't matter either. And now that I evolved it into a Graveler still the same problem.
Kripz 0
This happened to me while training on unowns. It mainly happened while training my Manetric, but also with my Zoroark as well.
