TekNo 0 Posted November 7, 2018 Share Posted November 7, 2018 Hey guys my save file randomly corrupted and I can't even load my file. I just get a couple error messages and have already tried using several save back ups. Is there anything else I can do about this? I made it all the way to Hardy's Gym I'd hate to have to start all over. Link to post Share on other sites

Commander 875 Posted November 7, 2018 Share Posted November 7, 2018 Actually, it looks more like Mods are causing it to spaz out. Try deleting those and see if your save works. I forgot which one but there was one that pretty much crashed the game. If that doesn't work, try downloading a new game as it's a corrupted script file...possibly from using mods. All you gotta do is erase your actual safefile,(Sorry, but it's corrupted) and replace it with one of your backup files, by renaming the backup file as "Game.rxdata" and you'll be ready to go. BTW, I'm praying that you saved a lot (You know, to not be so away from the corrupted file in terms of progress). Link to post Share on other sites

As I've stated already I already tried using a few of my save back ups but that isn't working. The next thing I'm going to try is removing my mods I guess, or should I try to move my save file to a different game once I re-download? Link to post Share on other sites

I ended up reinstalling them and deleted a portion of the mod that I saw kept coming up in the error message and it works just fine now. Seems so odd it started out of now where and deleting one component of the mod made it ok again. Whatever I'm not complaining I Just hope it stays this way. Thanks for the help guys!
