PinDaGreat 0
I was battling Kiki for the umpteenth time, when I realized that in my several attempts, the quick claw I had on my Chesnaught never activated once. The quick claw gives the holder a 20% of going first in battle to the holder regardless of speed. The quick claw never activated once. There is absolutely no way there is just RNG. I know how percentages work. If I had played 7 battles with my Pokemon using a move at 5 times average per battle, the item would have activated at least once. Please address this bug soon. side note: Kiki's gym is literally impossible. SOS

Yes, it could be a bug, but there´s no way of proving this without looking at the game file. But anyways: Would you mind posting your safe file? This way I can a) test if I get quick claw to work (yes, I´m THAT sure that your sample size was just too small) and b) I could see what pokemon you have and try to suggest a consistent way of beating kiki. One more thing: you don´t have to open two topics with the same content... Edit: I tested it on my game. It took two minutes to get the effect.... One thing to note: I don´t get any message that it activates. And one last thing: this post could come off as mean. I don´t mean it like that.

LilyX 88
Alright, @PinDaGreat A few points: - why the hell would you NOT level your pokemon up to the level cap if you struggle to win battles? - why would you try beating a FIGHTING leader with a team that´s mostly weak to fighting?? - the pokemon you have are pretty weak overall and won´t be any help in the battles to come. That said, I was able to solve your problem. With the pokemon/moves at your disposal it was impossible, so I had to common candy some pokemon down and train them up again, because you missed out on very important moves. Your team now consists of: - scrafty - sawk - drifblim - chesnaught - Palossand - doesn´t matter All you have to do now is to click the correct moves and switch in the correct pokemon. Should you struggle with that, let me know and I´ll give move-by-move instructions how to beat her. Game.rxdata

I just EV trained a Woobat that has simple. I am going to give it Calm Mind Psychic Air slash and Endeavor if I can get another rare candy from pickup. The battle field doubles the effect of calm mind and simple do so as well. If I can get off a single calm mind use, I got the battle in the bag. I'll give it a focus sash to endure a payback. I'll also maybe spend a few hours to get the power items and load up on EV reset berries at a later point so my Chesnaught can have a ghost of a chance of living a flying attack. Thank you for your help and have a good day ^_^

Thank you for your help and have a good day ^_^ Yes, Woobat (or rather Swoobat) is a good idea! Be careful though, payback is not the only dark type move on Kikis team. There´s also the Toxicroaks sucker punch and the Hitmonlees knock off. Both of them outspeed even speedy (S)woobats. (Plus Gallades night slash and lucarios hp dark, but they don´t outspeed and get killed in one hit) Anyways, adding (S)woobat won´t really solve fundamental problems with your team. But I guess you´ll find out soon enough
