Missing Teddiursa

The Teddiursa Encounter in Lower Peridot/Peridot is not working for my game. I have restarted my save twice,and after I find the Bear two times it vanishes from my game. I checked all the proper spots for the Bear over muitple days,and have done so with clear weather in the day and he is still not appearing.I even did the same thing after beating Julia and he is still not showing up. My last encounter with the bear before it disapperead was where it was near the Dumpster in Lower Peridot

There is a bug with Teddiursa. After the second location, the other 3 remaining ones are random. IF it "selects" the garden location, then it simply disappears forever. Garden Teddiursa location is bugged.

 

Only workaround, other than trading or reaching Route 3 (which has wild Ursaring), is to save game right next to Teddiursa, BEFORE initiating the hunt. Then, check all possible locations, in one go. If it is nowhere to be seen, then reset and start all the way from the beginning. 

 

You forgot two locations, though. One, is south from the building that has the night-time Charjabug/Joltik event and the other, near the house of the fisherman who gives you the Old Fishing Rod.
