Corud 0 Posted September 11, 2018 Share Posted September 11, 2018 After being stuck with helping the lass watching Florinia's gym, I decided to look up the solution. I understand that I need to access the third floor in the trainer school. The problem is that on the second floor, the double door leading to the third floor is locked. On another save that I have (which is pre Luna) those doors are open, however they are locked on my main save (which is post Hardy). My main save is quite old; it was created November 29th, 2014. I am fairly certain that the third floor didn't exist back then, which makes me suspect that the school somehow wasn't properly updated when the floor was added. I know you need to talk to this guy: Spoiler Spoiler Exactly from this side, and he will knock out the plant, another guy should open the floor. Not sure about the rest of this quest tho.. Thanks for fixing the Silver Ring! I made sure I talked to everyone in Onyx before posting, to avoid embarrassing myself. I guess I ended up embarrassed anyway! Especially considered that I have actually gotten him to knock the plant over in another save. In any case I'm glad my memory was at fault rather than a bug. Thank you for your help! And be sure to have officiall release, not community one! Yeah, I guess I could. I really enjoy exploring the secrets of the game on my own, though, browsing only as a last resort. But of course that should not come at the expense of being a bother. I believe I have the official one. In a new release, the community one is released first for the community to test, right? Regarding the sidequest, I need to show the girl on the third floor a Sweet Heart given from the lass to progress the event. This item I don't have; I have already given it to the chef in the Spyce sidequest. So I suppose the girl would reject the Sweet Heart so that the player could keep it for the Spyce quest afterwards. Anyhow, I'm sure the possibility of finishing these quests 'in the wrong order' is something the developers are aware of, so that later on an opportunity to complete them will present itself. The same goes for the Balm Mushroom needed to finish the Spyce quest; many people including me sold it before realizing it was needed for the quest. However I will not ask anyone to do that as I am against that by principle, especially since I am sure the developers have both of these 'missing items' under control and will add a way to obtain them in a future release. One could always trade for them with another player, but that would only translate the issue onto that player. The Silver Ring I felt was different since moving it to Key Items is the only reasonable way to expect the issue to be solved. Link to post Share on other sites
