Undefined method 'lastSave' for nil:NillClass.

So a while ago i tried to get update 17 to work correctly but its way too glitchy/buggy and crashes every few minutes so its unplayable. Same now for episode 18 unfortunatly.

Thats why i decided i just go back to update 15 but when i try to load the game it gives me a few errors that result in the following: No Method Error occured undefined method 'lastSave' for nil:NillClass.

 

Is it not possible to go back to a previous update? If so im screwed because 17 and 18 are unplayable and so is 16.

Could be a corrupted save so i deleted game.rxdata and renamed the highest save file and tried that 5 more times without results.

 

So does anyone have update 15 still? Cant find it in the download page and it might work, im also open to other suggestions.

The maps and the pokemon availability were different in E15 so I don't think it's possible to revert back to episodes that didn't include the restored Reborn city. You should be able normally to update to E18. Try going to an area that's unchanged between episodes (a pokemart for example) and save your game there. Close your game and try disabling or even better deleting any mods (you can always install them again later). Then install E18 and this time it will probably work.  I'm by no means an expert on such matters so if that doesn't work, I have no better ideas.

E18 is launchable and running but it crashes to often to be playable, thats why i tried going back to e15. I did try to save in the nurture center by the tauros and bouffalant fights and then tried to replace the e18 files with the files from e15 but with no luck unfortantly. Thanks for the idea anyway was worth trying

I think E15 will never work, since you probably are past the point in the story where you return to the renovated reborn, so I don't think replacing the files will help. If you have any mods on reborn (weather mod, shared box etc.) please make sure they are deleted before updating (sorry for repeating that, i thought that maybe you didn't see it on my first response since you didn't address it).
Don't  worry though, it's only a matter of time before an admin sees your post fixes your save file. Perhaps it'll also be more helpful to them if you specify beforehand when your game usually crashes when playing E18.

Yeah sorry i didnt adress that, i dont have any mods installed though, trying to keep it as clean as possible. Alright thanks for the info! I hope i will be playing reborn soon enough then, im almost halfway in the game and was not easy to get so far lol

Do the crashes often happen in battle? Disabling move animations might help. Go to configuration and turn battle scene off.

It does help alot and ive tried before. It just isnt the same experience without seeing anything in a battle..
