Issue when trying to start 'Game.Exe' (Please help)

I've extracted the folder, but whenever I try to run the .Exe it doesn't run, I've tried to run as administrator and I've downloaded the file from both the normal download link and the mirror link yet it merely stays as a black box. If anybody could help I'd appreciate it. Edit- I tried to download it again, and I extracted the file using multiple different software, 7Zip, Winrar etc. none of it has worked. I also checked the FAQ and couldn't find a fix to my issue.

I am able to close it, but that's literally it I can't do anything else, once or twice though, there wasn't any red X in the corner and I had to use Task Manager, so it could be. Edit- Forgot to mention, I read some previous posts that seemed to have the same problem as me, so I've already tried the DEP fix, but that also hasn't worked.

DEP...? Hm.... Wasn't that only for the RGSS player issue? Unless I'm remembering wrong.

That said, I have been seeing a few people who've had this similar issue but I haven't yet encountered a solution for it. It's weird, because it seems to apply to some games made with RMXP but not all of them. Unfortunately, there's no way I can determine exactly what the constants between those games are....

Nothing yet... It's difficult because I haven't been able to identify any common thread between computers that have this issue, nor do I have access to one to play around with it.

My initial thoughts were to suggest try running as administrator or in XP compatibility but neither of those seem to have had an effect.

The next thing is... If someone with this error could try downloading a trial version of RMXP and try running the game by test-playing it from within RMXP itself, that might get around it, but who knows.

In order to do that, they would first need to make a new project in RMXP, save it, and then take the Game.rxproj file from that new project and put it in the same folder as Game.exe. That would allow it to be opened in the maker. Then the green arrow to test play is near the top.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I'm on a 64-bit Windows 7 (in Spanish, in case that matters :P)

Have tried a couple things to no avail (I have not tried the "DEP fix" tho)

If you want me to test something out please let me know
