Crash - Using Wine with a Mac

Hi,

I just downloaded this game and was really excited to play. I just downloaded the application Wine, as well, which lets mac users play pc games (which I only found out about because it was recommended). The game worked perfectly for me until after the first battle with Cain. The error message comes up right after nurse joy asks if I want to heal my pokemon.

Basically what pops up is a window with the title "Program Error" saying "The program Game.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." then goes on to say: "This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine. You may want to check the [Application Database] for tips about running this application." which I did, and wasn't helpful... so I'm confused on what to do I replayed the game to that point about 3 times now and am not sure if it is the Wine program, the game or it being on a mac and I don't know how to fix the bug. (I added a screenshot just in case that would help)

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated. The game looks awesome and I really want to play it so hopefully I can figure this out. Thanks for your time~!

The pitfall here is that I know next to nothing about Mac or Wine...

However, I do know that right at that point when she takes your Pokemon, the game actually lags a little bit on weaker computers. I'm wondering if your computer was just not able to keep up with that at all... Is it very old?

If it's an average Mac, then chances are it couldn't take the heat.

I have a high end mac. I've never had issues with anything and it is quite fast. I am too having an issue with this problem. I think that it might not be loading the music for the pokemon healing and it's causing a crash. Maybe it's looking for that to start to start the process. I could be completely wrong but it does have something to do with the coding when I look at my trouble shoot when it crashes something to do with this line of code. 0x10003a70.

This is the error report from wine:

Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x10003a70 in 32-bit code (0x10003a70).

I found how to fix the problem! Go into the Pokemon Reborn file. Go into Audio file and remove the ME file. It's all the Midi music in the game, so like I originally thought the songs weren't loading. The game runs smoothly for me, I can catch pokemon and heal mine at the poke center. You just wont get the jingles anymore.
