Tacos 205
Pretty sure I didn't see anything about this yet, but I just battled Ciel and her Altaria's Cloud Nine didn't cancel out hail from Alolan Ninetales' Snow Warning. For more context, the hail had been out for one or two turns already and there was dialogue stating that Cloud Nine did activate. However, Altaria still took residual hail damage at the end of the turn. Alolan Ninetales also had an icy rock equipped, so I don't know if that would contribute to the error. Altaria loses cloud nine upon mega evolving, so its effect ends. I'm assuming altaria did mega evolve but if it didn't then there's probaly some kind of AI bug too so pls confirm. pyrromanis 70
In addition, Cloud Nine doesn't remove the weather from the field, it only ignores all the weather effects. So if Cloud Nine Altaria entered the battlefield the Hail is not removed so the next turn that mega evolves and loses Cloud Nine it will take the damage from Hail's effect
