Dire hit in double battles

So am using a sniper scope lens kingdra, used with focus energy it gives 100% crit, but i tried it with dire hit, looked it up, it gives the same crit boost as a focus energy, but didn't work as expected in the game:

 

1- used dire hit in a single battle it's 100% crit same as focus energy

2- used dire hit in doubles it's random

3- used focus energy in doubles it's 100% crit

4- same result as 2 and 3 in doubles with a partner (with victoria in devon is where i tested)

 

after rounds of testing the points above, the problem seems to come from dire hit, that's all the info i could get, hope this helped
