Wolffang1995Hyano 1 Posted July 4, 2018 Share Posted July 4, 2018 I started playing this game a week or so ago and when I try to play it now all I get is either the 'script is hanging' or this error message Pokemon Reborn Script 'PokemonLoad' line 410: NoMethodError occurred. undefined method 'updateMap' for nil:NilClass Does this mean I need to download a Ruby rom and add the files into the Reborn file oor...?... I normally would say that problem is caused by a corrupted save, but if I understand correctly you haven't even had the chance to play, right? Either way, go to C drive: Users: [your username]: Saved Games: Pokemon Reborn If there's anything there delete it and try to restart the game. The hanging scripts may have been caused by excessive lag, I recommend you to avoid running too many programs while playing. Link to post Share on other sites

I even put in the beginning that I had started playing. Thing is I've already tried doing the 'game' name-change thing and nothing happened. Link to post Share on other sites

I'm guessing he was more so asking to identify the problem or cause better. But it seems like the save file is indeed corrupted. You can look up in the forum how to use your back up save file.
