The game is fun but sometimes the puzzle is just ARAFAGVGJH (╬▔皿▔)凸 not to mention all pokemon that i get sorry guys all the pokemon you traded to me will be gone （〒▽〒） Link to post Share on other sites

EDIT: @Angelkitsunelong shot but have ya tried running the game as an administrator or something? I've heard this error occurs when something is missing, when the file is in a location restricted or that the user is considered to not have permission to access and such so like it might be trying to save ya game file somewhere it thinks you arnt allowed access to? who knows. Angelkitsune 267 Posted June 23, 2018 Author Share Posted June 23, 2018 i dont know how to use a backup savefile and no i dont i just when i double click on those savefiles it ask me what application i should use me being a dummy thinking i can change it later just click on internet explore and then suddenly all the icon change from the normal one to the internet explore one i panic and try to change it back but to no avail in the end i just click on properties and change it to opera browser i check and other savefile from other pokemon games like rejuvenation and phoenix rising their icon also changed but i can still save so im really confused... NOW I KNOW THE PROBLEM, it's trying to read the file in an incorrect format, if ya get the trial version of rpgmaker you could probably fix it by changing it to open as that type of file for rpgmaker, even then i dont think ya need to be able to use the rpgmaker as long as it exists to tell the file to open it using that program it should work as getting rpgmaker instantly changes the file icons to it's type @Angelkitsune here, this is the link to the site for rpgmaker https://www.rpgmakerweb.com i owuld get Rpgmaker XP, trial or not all ya should need is the program so you can tell the file to open using it and it should go back to normal. Also while on the topic, backup files can be used by taking the Game.rxdata out of the folder and changing the name of a backup to be Game.rxdata, the backups usually have your name, how much play time you have and how many badges as the name of the file.rxdata Link to post Share on other sites

Try seeing if the save files have switched over into a format that works again. If not, go back into the save files and change it to open with RPGMaker XP. Link to post Share on other sites

You said it didn't happen with Rejuvenation, so it sounds like its specific to the Reborn folder. I know Lord Drakyle suggested it above, but just to check, have you tried running the game in Administrator mode? If not try that. Otherwise, go into the save folder and check the permissions for the account you're using. In your case it looks like it would be "Audrey Mac". Mine looks like this (with all personal info blacked out because I'm kinda paranoid): This should show whether you have permission to change the file. If I understand the meaning correctly at least. If so, then go into the saved games section and create a second folder for Reborn (named something else to remind you what's in it). Then move all your saves from there (including the backups) into that folder. When that's done, delete everything in the current Reborn folder. That will leave it empty, but all of your saves will still be intact so you won't lose progress. When the Reborn folder is empty start up a new game and try to save. If that doesn't work then delete the Reborn folder entirely (as in the actual folder itself rather than just what's inside) and start the game up again. Start a new game and try to save then. Still have some ideas. First, I had no problems saving your game when I downloaded it a while back. Here's the save I made from it (I think this was yours anyway. The character's name is Alice and she's in the desert with 15 badges): Game.rxdata If that doesn't work let me know, there's still one thing I can think of but its more complicated.
