TroubleCraft 0
I excuse myself if this is put in the wrong place or has happened beforehand and has been submitted. I’m trying to run the game using the version 17.1, as claimed by the readme file, on my recently purchased laptop the first time, it opened properly and I managed to introduce my save file and play some. The very next day, on loading the computer and opening the folder once I was done with work, the game file, the one used to open the game and get playing, just wasn’t opening. I’ve tried downloading the game again, checking for compatibility issues, did the DEP permission process as many told to but, after about a week I just don’t know what else to do to try and solve it on my own so I decided to post this Can you help? That sounds strange, you don't need rpg maker to play reborn. Can you explain me how are you running the game?
TroubleCraft 0
Simply by opening the folder and pressing it i have rpgmaker because I use it from time to time, but I don’t understand I was thinking a quick format, but I really don’t feel compelled to simply because I’ve already a couple things I work here with often maybe I’m missing a redistributable package or something required to run RGSS files? But then the error message would talk about RGSS player, not about RPG maker. I have no idea but have you tried redownloading RPG maker?

TroubleCraft 0
The way you showed me, via altering the saves, is the one that shows the rpg maker error otherwise and my main issue is that the game simply doesn’t pop up
TroubleCraft 0
This case is hard since it’s no error popping up but it just does not open

Try running it as administrator and if that doesn't work screenshot for me the game folder and open the game.ini file and screenshot that too.

Running as administrator didn't help the game.ini is attached, I looked at it and it seems blank, not sure if that's good or bad. the folder is basically as you find it when you upack the thing, not even taken out of the other folder Side note: I did try and take the folder and the entire contents out of the folder onto the desktop, no luck. Game.ini The game.ini file looks normal to me. Did you change the name of the executable aka game.exe aka what you click to run the game? It's the only other thing I can think of that would cause the game to not even pop up.

Wait a second... what drivers/system packages/other things are necessary? I might check and see if that works

I might check and see if that works You don't need to install anything extra, as long as you are on windows you should have everything you need, the problem probably is that something went wrong with the download and some of the game files are missing. @TroubleCraft Sorry wrong thread, forget that. I still don't know what happens with your game.
