Can't even start the game

Greetings.

I'm here to discuss a certain, rather major, issue I have with playing Reborn. I can't even start up the game right! I click on game.exe, the game pops up, I'm taken to the title screen, I press 'z' and then this happens:

And then the thing closes.

Yes, I play on a Mac using Wine.

I really don't know what to do here. Would someone please help me fix this? I have been a major fan of Reborn for years and I still am!

Were you able to play normally before?

If yes, what do you recall doing between then and now that might've caused this?

I play on a Mac too and this hasn't happened to me so prolly can't help but still

Ok, this is a problem. I can't play Reborn! Or Rejuvenation.

I tried uninstaling wine and then re-installing it, but the same problem occurred again!

Can someone help me?

Sorry, but I'm perfoming the ritual required to summon the ones who could help me.

The same thing happened to me, except it said that "Script 'PokemonLoad line 289: NoMethodError occurred. undefined method 'lastSave' for nil:NilClass" it was working fine before...

That sounds like you need to use a backup

Hmm I don't know a lot about Mac problems, but if you click in "show details" and screenshot that for us maybe I'll be able to help you.

Everything is how it should be.

Someone, help me T~T

Don't worry, once I have some time (in like a couple of hours) I'll investigate what could this problem be and hopefully find a solution -or at the very least an explanation-.

@SilverHelio I have found a couple of topics which suggest that the problem might be related to the graphics driver. Take a look https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1515044
