Aikofox 2 Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 So this is a bug I've been encountering since Episode 15, but it didn't affect gameplay, was just annoying, so I never reported it. However, as of 17 it's gotten worse, so I finally stopped being lazy. When nicknaming Pokemon, the game seems to think I'm holding down a letter, say 'W', and it types the nickname as wwwwwwwwwww. To get rid of this, I have to hold down the letter in question for a few seconds, then delete it. Usually this fixes the problem, though occasionally I'll have to do it a couple times as it continues to try and type that letter, or even switch to another letter, making me repeat. Annoying, but nothing I can't work around. Except now it's not even reading certain keys. I have to change my control keys to non-letters or they won't register (i.e. I have to use escape instead of X to open the menu), and just now I tried to nickname a Pokemon Colombe, and it would only register the C key. Anyone encountered this before? Like I said, it's been happening for 3 episodes now, across two different computers. Link to post Share on other sites
Walpurgis 501 Posted April 8, 2018 Share Posted April 8, 2018 I have never had this problem or heard of it. Does your keyboard work normally the rest of the time? Are you playing on Windows or Mac? Can you think of anything that could be causing this aka anything that somehow alters/involves the keyboard imput? Link to post Share on other sites
