Welcome to the world of Postscriptum.   Follow the steps of the protagonist, a melancholic young adult stricken by unemployment and paralyzed by a chronic care-free and lethargi

This sometimes happens when a)the browser's cache is filled to the brim (or there's some kind of Mega cookie problem) b) You had the browser open for a long time and then proceeded to download from Me

Hey! I just wanted to say that I love this game so far, particularly the protagonist and the setting.

Spoiler

Also, does anyone know how to get to the ancient city, or just out of Old Artemisia?

First of all thanks a lot :D. Now to answer your question:

Spoiler

You should head to the southwestern part of the map. There you will find some "columns" where you need to input a word which cannot be deduced using in-game knowledge.
You can google search that word based on the etymology provided by the statue above - particularly its last line. Of course that word is written in *that* particular language.

before you reentered the city, did you manage to find any of the rare candies scattered through out route 0, 1 and the falls, if so i highly recommend using them, if not my only advice is to use the old school for grinding off wild battles

The only problem with that is that I can't clear the museum with the level my pokemon are at right now. I'm at like high 20's for all of them and I get destroyed after like the 5th trainer.

In case you haven't got any rare candies, remaining potions from your first trip, or new potions from the Univ, grinding is the only option - aside from spawnhealing.
Map131.rxdata

Map196.rxdata

Or just replace these in the Data folder of Postscriptum.
Now healing spots exist after entering the museum and the old university (just take a few steps or three and your party will be healed).
Easily/early accessible healers exist from South Artemisia onwards

I finally cracked the code after like 3 hours of research and copious use of Wikipedia.

I only got it because of your hint though.

Thanks!

Well, we commend you for your... dedication!

(No seriously, for a "puzzle" with no in-game solution and the silliness of it, that perseverance is something)

So i got to the guy with the max revives and ive lost 2 times now, is there another way to go through the bridge or??

also great game man!

Thank you!
Yes, but this one is the only one. Take a look inside the spoiler >

Spoiler

You certainly were enjoying it when you were using all kinds of items against the elite four and the such back in the first/second games huh? HUH?
In all seriousness, this one is over after 3 tries. In this episode there are 2 skippable battles. One of those might be coming up next, you'll need to think outside normal fighting methods for that.

Oh what is this, a map?

What do I do after I beat the museum. I'm pretty sure the gang leader told him to meet him somewhere but I can't find him.

Proceed to the south. Just go through the checkpoint, rubble will have disappeared. In case you find yourself in another place after a cutscene, go southwards again.

Hey, I wanted to grind up before I returned to the city for episode 3, but I can't remember/find anyplace to heal?? Could someone remind me? To be clear, I mean a place to heal outside the city...

There's a healer in one of the huts at the marsh town. Of course, that means trekking all the way back over there, but then again, that's where the highest leveled Pokemon outside of the city are anyway.

Hi, first of all, thank you for the great game experience. I'm really enjoying it so far! And the Greek references make it even more interesting!

I wanted to ask where the entrance to the sewers lies. I understood it's on the southwestern side of the map, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I am really enjoying the game so far!

Spoiler

Where do I go after arriving at the part of town where the Artemisia University and the trolly squirtle doll are? I beat the university as well at the long named guy, and I went through all the houses. The bridge is blocked, and I can see a way around on to the bridge using the sewer, but I don't know where that it. I can't go back through the sewer I came in.

edit: Nvm, I'm good.

IDK if spoilers, so I'll mark it just in case.

Spoiler

My Budew evolved into Roselia at lvl. 37. Was this on purpose or is the evolution still friendship based? Also any chance for a move learner/Shiny Stone later in-game? I don't want my Roselia to get stuck with Mega Drain.

EDIT: nevermind

Spoiler

I went to the Ancient city, did everything there was to be done there, had Diggy get me back to the surface. Now I don't know what to do. I went to the sewer entrance you indicated yet nothing. I can't get in.

Spoiler

I just finished episode 3, and I am very satisfied with the episode. Although, I don't think I explored quite as much as I could have, since my final team was Hitmonchan, Weezing, Talonflame, and Delibird's evo. Hitmonchan came in clutch against the rock gym leader and the max revive guy, but that max revive guy was seriously difficult to beat 3 times. Anyway, I am going to share all my thoughts on the episode.

Honestly, I think it would have been better if the mom had actually died, and the episode had ended just a little after the bridge got shot down. With Zack making the hard choice to sacrifice your mom, and then the beautiful scene with your mom right after, and then walking away from the masses blaming you for what ultimately resulted in your mom's death, I was hit with a serious emotional hit. It sort of gave the feel that you had to keep moving forward for the sake of your mom's memory and wishes. If the episode had ended right after that, possibly with a little extra scene detailing what comes next, I would have finished the game with a major "wow" feeling. Like when you finish watching an emotional show and just sit in front of the screen staring blankly and trying to contemplate what even just happened. Although, instead, I feel like the ending dragged on a bit, and the "wow" feeling faded. When his mom ended up being alive, the "wow" feeling faded even more. So, I finished the episode feeling like "Well, that's pretty nice that his mom survived, and Elea and the MC are so perfect for each other," instead of "Holy crap, that actually all just happened. Give me more now." Anyway, I don't really know, it may just be my writing style to leave people with a major emotional punch.

Also, this is smaller, but personally I would have wanted a chance too look at my delibird evolution's stats and such before going in to the ending. I sort of wanted the ending to just finish so that I could check him out, because I was so done with using delibird at that point, because it was fairly useless. Most of the ending was really well done in my opinion, especially the beginning part of the ending, but I couldn't fully enjoy it. So, maybe in the ice cave right after, the player would gain control and walk out by himself, but would first get to look through his party and such. Then it would cut to the next scene when you walk out.

My last problem was with all the countless enemy trainers that you had to fight time after time for no reward with healing spots pretty far away. Now, I am not implying that the player should get a cool item or Pokemon everytime he grinds through a few trainers. I am more implying to rewarding the player with the story. When the player has to fight a lot of battles against the same type of grunt over and over again, and the only reward is a massive lecture on science that they probably don't understand in the least bit, it can be frustrating. There were a few times where I would have to grind through a lot of grunts with better pokemon than me, so I was constantly running way back to the healing spots, and then the story wouldn't really progress as a result. The beginning - middle chunk of this episode had a lot of this, and as a result I would get bored/frustrated. I played the first two episodes in one or two sessions, but this episode spread over several sessions. One of the primary aspects of game design is to reward the players work in some sort of away, especially when the work is repetitive. Basically, I suggest having less trainer battles or adding more of a reward, either with in-game advantages, such as items, or with some sort of interesting story point.

On the positive side, I haven't seen the psychological factor implemented so well in any other Pokemon fan games. The characters feel very real, especially the MC, and all the person vs. self conflict within the characters is really impressive, such as Zack's deep regret for sacrificing the MC's mom, and the MC's feeling of being pathetic and weak.

Lastly, my thoughts on the episode may seem more negative than positive, but I was just listing the things that specifically stood out. This is still one of my favorite fan games so far, and it was very enjoyable and well made. I look forward to the upcoming episodes. :D
