Developers VulpesDraconis 3 Posted January 21, 2018 Developers Share Posted January 21, 2018 I found a couple of errors that trace back to variables: First one happened in regular gameplay. During the Mega/Z Ring quest intro Arc said, "Turns out, the couple running it were dupes", despite that I'd freed the daycare couple before I beat Florinia, and thus already knew they were dupes. I checked the event, and it has a conditional branch for this, but it checks if the daycare event variable is equal to 9, rather than if it's greater than or equal to, which would make more sense. I'm not certain when it's set to 9, but if the player rescues the couple from the warehouse it's set to 10, so if they progress past that point then what Arc says makes less sense. Screenshot of the event: Spoiler Next one I found through RPGMaker, and I used debug mode to get the screenshots, so if there's already something in place to fix it already I probably missed it. The Heatmor event still seems to check the Turtmor variable, even though Turtonator was cut. The variable is still randomised in the Grand Hall with all the other randomised variables, but if it's randomised to 1, Heatmor doesn't show up. I soft reset a few times to check it was being randomised still, although the screenshots are from me changing the variable manually. If the variable is 0: Spoiler But if the variable is 1: Spoiler This basically results in 50% of files not being able to activate the event, locking them out of getting Heatmor. EDIT: Found another thing. In Glitch City Citae Astra, the Shiny Wild switch is set to on if you enter from Pokémon Mansion, but it's set to off if you enter from Victory Road. Even if this is intentional, the switch is turned off when you leave the Citae Astra anyway. Link to post Share on other sites
