blakeroni 0
I updated to the newest version(17), (was on V15 public release when i first encountered it.) and the default key items slot key on the keyboard is left shift. as SOON as you get your starter and walk out of the starter room, the game can stick you in place during a event scene if you press shift while a dialog box is up during that event scene. Which cancels out the current text box, and replaces it with "the key items slot can be assigned an item..." text, which in turn stops the event, and you can no longer continue the event and have to restart from your last save, but what is even more game breaking, is if you decide to save while in this state you're stuck forever. weirdly it allows you to open your menu and save or check your party, etc. i have replicated this at least 3 times now without fail. Im very surprised this hasn't been found yet, as its something anyone could easily find by accident if they're impatient with an event.

Have you tested it on other events or just that one at the start?
