Gender/player character bug

Feskik

Recommended Posts

hey sup, so after making a new playthrough i decided to go as Decibel, aka white haired dude, but as a male. Arriving at cite d'arc, cain mentions that adrienn is like my character, as non-binary.

i dont really know how to check the players gender with rmxp or in game, so ill add the save file if needed.

Game.rxdata
(sorry if this is said already i didnt see another post mentioning it)

This isn't a bug, as Decibel is a non binary character, not a guy. If you want to change it that's up to you, but this is how it was intended.

Edit: Okay, I completely mental blanked about the gender choice addition in E17 so my post is completely useless. Thanks for the report!!!

As of E17, you select appearance and gender separately when creating your character—that is, you can have any of the protagonists be male, female, or non-binary. I assume Feskik means that he started a file in E17 and chose the Decibel appearance + male, but the game is still treating it the same as if he chose a non-binary protagonist, which really would be a bug.

Yep, completely forgot that that was a change that was made... my bad.

I'll unmark this as not a bug, and it should get noted down.

The in-game gender in Reborn is a variable (variable 0151) and only produces minor dialogue changes, you can check and change it using rmxp
