[Known]Crash on trading the mystery egg in Jasper Ward

Hello there, hope this is the right spot to post this as the game immediately crashes upon encountering this issue.

 

When I want to trade a Growlithe egg for the mystery egg, after choosing the egg in my party the screen goes black and shows a script error as seen below.

I assume it only involves a specific group of mystery eggs, in my case I think Gastly, whereas my brother with his Axew had no problems.

At first I used a mod just like him but afterwards tried it with a clean install, nothing changed.

 

Hope you can help me as I would really like to use Gastly if it really is one.

yeah this will only happen with gastly. not sure if intentional or not but script needs to be edited

Yeah this is a known bug, in Public the Mystery Egg is broken for the (un)lucky 1/18 that end up getting Gastly as their mon sorry for any inconcenience.

Here's a patch for this! Overwrite this into your data folder and re-enter the station; it should work then!

I've edited the Known Fatals post with this patch too so it'll always be in easy reach.
