Veterans Azeria 390 Posted December 12, 2017 Veterans Share Posted December 12, 2017 - Reporting for @whomst'd've'n't * Entry hazards are consumed at the end of the turn, returning a special effect to the side they were on: Toxic Spikes deal 12.5% max HP to grounded non-Poison/Steel types, and inflicts damage Quote If the user has Corrosion, the spikes shoot up and nothing happens. Possibly an oversight? * Telluric Seed boosts Atk and Sp Atk and applies a random status to the user Quote So I was a Heatran and at the beginning of the turn i got the boosts twice, but no status. At the end of the turn, the seed activated two more times. This kept happening until I got paralyzed by the seed. So pretty much, it keeps activating at the end of every move until it randomly chooses a status you can actually be affected with. This got me curious so I tried it with Komala (Comatose prevents all status), and I got to +6 before the end of the turn. This also works for any Pokemon that can't get statused because of type or ability. Quote * Activates Poison Heal and Toxic Boost Quote Toxic Boost is activated, while Poison Heal is not. * Pokemon with Corrosion may trigger the field's random statuses on any Pokemon regardless of typing. Quote Either I'm extremely unlucky, or this does not work with Secret Power, which on this field inflicts random status. And none of the random statuses work at all on steel types because they're all Poison type attacks... (Corrosion only allows the user to poison steel types, not attack them with poison.) *Acid Downpour additionally applies a random status to non-Poison/Steel types Quote Couldn't get this to work on a Poison type, This doesnt work on steel types...
