Alaris 85
Hi! So I wanted to report a couple of things I noticed during ep. 17: Many wild pokemon in the desert (e.g., Dugtrio) use Dig against Taka's Chatot. The AI probably overlooks the flying immunity to ground. Many wild pokemon in the desert (e.g., Excadrill) keep using sandstorm... in the desert. And they keep failing, of course. Alistair 705
Iirc wild mons are supposed to use their moves at random so it's not really an AI problem, or even a problem at all.
Imperial 19
This seems normal indeed, but I've seen another strange behavior. The AI overswitches. I just fought a trainer who send me a Dhelmise against my Aerodactyl to start the battle. He switched. Rather normal and even good in this situation. But then I kill the pokemon he sent instead. He re-send Dhelmise, only to switch again. I had the same with Amaria, she lost 3-4 turns switching uselessly, allowing me to easily sweep several of her pokemons. At first I thought that it's because when replacing a dead pokemon the trainer just send the next one on the list without the AI intervening, and thus possibly sending a wrong choice, but I don't think against Amaria the switches were after I killed one of her pokemon and she replaced it

Ah, I didn't know that the AI was only for trainers. Sorry, and thanks for the info!
Alistair 705
@Imperial yup some other people have noticed this unnecessary switching issue too, it seems to happen with Julia and other trainers as well... prolly a matter of switching being "overappreciated" as a possible action by the AI. Hopefully this gets fixed for the public release. @Alaris you're welcome
