Mysterious Battle and Menu Lag

For weeks Pokemon Reborn was working fine. I would get occasional lag spikes by going to certain areas, but beyond that nothing out of the ordinary occurred. Then out of the blue, Pokemon Reborn starts suffering from massive amounts of lag. The odd thing is that this lag only occurs when I am in battle or when I try to do anything with the menu (pokedex, bag, ect.). Specifically, this lag causes movement through the menu to be slow, and for my screen to go black when attempting to open anything within the menu. I tried pulling up earlier save files, and all of them have the same lag, even though no such lag had previously existed.

 

Eventually I ended up moving Pokemon Reborn to my other computer, where the lag completely vanished...for about 48 hours. Afterwards the lag was back, and shifting Reborn back to my main machine did nothing to fix the problem. I would also like to note that all other games on my computer are running fine, except for Pokemon Reborn. Can anyone please help me figure out what is going wrong with my game or my computers?

Try disabling animations for battles in options. Reborn is known to lag on computers because of old engines or low specs of your pc. There's not much we can do to fix it. Try playing the gamw without other programs in background
