[Not a bug]Pancham not getting egg move sludge bomb

I'm trying to get Pancham to learn sludge bomb as part of a breeding chain. It says he should be able to learn the tm and I have the father (Toxicroak) with Sludge Bomb but the babies don't know it.

Unfortunately, TM breeding hasn't been available in the game since episode 12 so you'll have to go back to that episode if you want it to learn it. This guide also explains it well:

My best advise is either doing it in Hardcore or Sandbox where TM breeding is still a thing.

Trufa,How are you going to trade the pokemon ?

Since TM sludge bomb isn't available,online play won't work.So Zemenes has to breed the pokemon themselves in Hardcore or older episode.
Edit: My bad.Apparently you can still trade and battle with unreleased TMs in online play.So forget I ever said anything.

Unless they changed it in the last few months, you should still be able to trade or battle 1 on 1 even with this (just like with forbidden mons), just WT is taken out.

 

 

I still don't get how your game/save isn't messing up going that far back, considering the complete seisure mine had trying to do the same.  At least TM breeding exists in Hardcore.

I can play online battle with my sheer force nidoking with ice beam,sludge wave,earth power and shadow ball while holding life orb.

@Yagami I think it would work just like a pokemon that is not available. I once bred a Gastly and traded it away, and as seki said, only wonder trade wasn't available.

@seki108 I always have a backup file in case of any problem. But I spent quite a time switching between E12 and E16 and didn't have trouble with the save file. The game crashes when you reach certain areas, but avoiding them, I was able to do it. Byxbysion was a safespot to save than switching.

Yep.  While not that mon, I have faced TM bred mons in online before.  Still a good idea to at least tell your opponent you are using TM bred mon (don't have to be specific about the mons, moves or anything,  just seems like a bit of a dick move to not mention you have moves they probably don't); though if you are on trolling terms go right ahead @Yagami.  Just mentioned so you'll notice the edit, if you already saw the post; I can't tell with anon on.
