[Known/Fixed]Plot hole/Possible missing dialogue? *spoilers*

After beating Blake on the mountain Cal says about the sleep signal and whoever said it was up there was lying and I should confront Terra, I went back to the big top tent and spoke to Samson who said 'did you want to go back in?' and teleported me to Terra's world, I'm a bit confused because its the first I've seen it and I hadn't gone and confronted her or anything like that so I'm wondering if there is something missing in the game or if I've accidentally skipped something somehow. Sorry if this post is in the wrong area.

From what you're saying, you appear to have missed a little dialogue. There should have been a scene or two explaining what's going on, and it appears you've missed it. I can't tell however, if this is a bug or if you skipped the cut scene or something in a similar vein.

You seem to have missed a whole conversation betwen Terra, Samson and Ciel, involving Terra being exposed as Meteor and fleeing to her computer world.
Could be that you somehow triggered the scene but didn't see it, or could be a bug.

Did you forcefully exit your game as you were walking into the cutscene or anything like that? I'm just taking a shot in the dark here, but any "unusual" behavior from the player might have messed up the game somehow.

This is probably related to the Ametrine City story bug. It's just rare that it doesn't show up until this point. The story can skip ahead depending on which NPCs you talk to when. It's been fixed for 17, sorry.

I managed to find the bit I missed on YouTube so I'm all caught up, nope I didn't exit at any point I looked round the town at the bottom of the mountain then went straight to the tent.

 

*edit* I did chat to some npcs along the way, maybe that's what caused it then, no worries
