It sometimes just ignores it. I was told by S.paul that this is a bug, so here's me reporting it Link to post Share on other sites
Plok 293 Posted June 14, 2017 Share Posted June 14, 2017 could you give us more info about this? is it happening in offline or online play? are you sure that the attacking pokemon killed the d bond user on the same turn? I've tried to test this with my gengar and it worked every time for me so I need more info to look into it properly Link to post Share on other sites

I'm not sure if it only happens when I die in the next turn after using it, so I will test that now. Is destiny bond only guaranteed to work if the user dies on the same turn? EDIT: I think I got kind of confused with the mechanics of destiny bond. That's why I believed it wasn't working properly. I don't have any issues anymore. If you use DB in the same turn before the opponent deals the final blow, then the opponent will faint when your pokemon faints. I just assumed whenever you used DB, the opponent would die with you. With that knowledge, it works normally Link to post Share on other sites
