SilentAge 22
Hey all, I'm sure it's a known issue around here, but I figured I'd let you know anyway. I've played this game a bit once before (E15 version) on an old Vista laptop and it ran well, aside from known slowness in the engine itself. This time I'm playing it on a new Macbook Pro with Wine, and it runs well most of the time. However, sometimes the game slows down so much that even battles can stall out completely. Just a few minutes ago, the game had to restart itself because the script became too bloated. Is this a known issue that is being worked on, or is there a way I can fix this myself? Thanks in advance!
Wolfox 2093
that's something that can happen on anything you run the game on. mac, laptop, PC, anything really
SilentAge 22
That's just it, though; I've never had this issue before. I've done some digging, and it seems to be an issue exclusive to the Mac version. I've installed it on my old laptop again, so I'll see if it's any better and then report back. Thanks for the reply. Plok 293
Try disabling battle animations in options to prevent lag in battles
SilentAge 22
Thanks for the replies, everyone. I tried it on my old laptop, and it's absolutely fine. I think it has something to do with how Wine and OS Sierra interact; hopefully the Wine team gets everything sorted in the future. In the meantime, a certain Vista laptop will be kicking butt.
