F14m3rz 8
Not sure if anyone's come across this glitch, or if it's intentional, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless. Spoiler First, enter Celestinine Mountain through this cave: Then, on Celestinine Mountain 1F, head through this passage, climbing down the waterfall as you do so: Once you're on B1F, head to the floor under that as well: Once you're on B2F, head left and you'll find a boulder blocking your way: Move it to the left, then save your game: Once that's taken care of, reset your game. Once you hit Continue, the boulder should be one tile left of where it should be (I dunno how or why it works, to be honest): Then go down and solve the ice floor puzzle: Then you'll wind up in Aventurine Woods. If you've solved the Pinsir/Heracross Puzzle up to this point, you should be able to explore the rest of the world without needing Fly. However, there is one thing of particular note. If you step on the flower without a Floral Charm before exiting the woods: Then you'll wind up like this: So unless you do actually have Fly, you'll be stuck in this spot forever unless you soft reset again. pyrromanis 70
Well, all starts with the strenght glitch, unless there is a way to pass that without abusing the glitch. Also does that mean you can access the old Reborn city before you get fly?
F14m3rz 8
Quote Well, all starts with the strenght glitch, unless there is a way to pass that without abusing the glitch. Also does that mean you can access the old Reborn city before you get fly? Yeah, it was actually pretty handy on my second playthrough of the game. I could get things I missed, go to higher floors in the Department Store, that sort of thing. The funny thing was, though, that I discovered this by accident the first time in my first playthrough in E15, so I thought "Sweet, now I can dive in those spots I couldn't before and go into the Upper floors!" But when I tried, diving didn't work, and an NPC blocking the way wouldn't let me through until it was possible. It wasn't until I fought Ciel that I understood that it was because they weren't programmed into the game yet. Life is funny like that sometimes...
Daniel Blackworth 279
What's with this ultra intricate bug? How does this bug even exist? It feels a little creepy, actually....
Peanuts 22
My guess at how this might happen: Based on where he ends up at the end, I think the flowers work by teleporting you to the last location where you entered into a new area. Typically that would be right outside the woods where you entered or something similar. But in this case, there is no 'marker' indicating the cave entrance from from celestine mountain into the woods counts as a valid location to move you to. Typically, you would not need one since you don't usually enter the woods from there. So it looks further back in the travel history, and moves you all the way back to where you entered the mountain. That location just happens to leave you stuck on water. And it's not just the location in the screenshot. I think you can get stuck anywhere under the underpass. Probably in this red zone I think the flower should have moved him right inside the entrance of the cave where you would enter the ametrine woods And this bug is only possible with the strength bug... which I find quite cool. Just curious, am I close @Amethyst?

Administrators Amethyst 2467 Posted March 14, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 14, 2017 you're not wrong; the flowers are basically a forced overworld-dig. i think we fixed this for dig, but probably not the flowerdig. @Marcello it's fakedig in the scripts; is that lacking your fix from dig? You are entirely correct, the fix was not in place for fakedig, just for dig. This has now been fixed for E17.
Administrators Amethyst 2467 Posted March 16, 2017 Administrators Share Posted March 16, 2017 thanks! also thanks to you flamerz, it's an obscure glitch that is only caused by very deliberate boulder hackery but it's good that it doesn't crash anyway, dipped some exp for you
