Outside Indoorsman 16
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but I have a Slurpuff on one of my profile teams. He's a good team member, but there seems to be a problem. Namely, he runs a Belly Drum set, and it seems that the speed boost from Unburden activating wears off after a single opposing pokemon goes down, and won't turn back on afterwards. I haven't exactly been speed EV training him, and he has a bad nature, but Slurpuff is hardly slow, and getting constantly outrun by lower-level Pokemon that aren't speed demons either when Unburden should be active (and doubling his speed) seems like a glitch to me. I could be wrong, but...
Sarun 29
How exactly do you gain the boost from Unburden, and are you swapping your mons out? Unburden's coding requires you to lose an item, such as via Knock Off or eating a berry, and just not giving an item to Slurpuff won't work. Also Unburden is coded as a volatile status, which means that swapping mons will cause your Slurpuff to lose the speed boost. Plus, is this happening in any specific field effect or just in general? Slurpuff's base speed is 72 so even without Unburden's boost it should be outspeeding most lower-levels mons.
Outside Indoorsman 16
The boost is gained by consuming an item. And I haven't given Slurpuff anything but Oran Berries as held items for a long time (i'd go with Sitrus if i could, but i can't find a place to buy them). And I usually don't swap Slurpuff out whenever I get Belly Drum set up, but get outsped anyways.
Plok 293
Do you remember which pokemon did you face or on which field were you battling? I tested this and it worked normally for me
Outside Indoorsman 16
It was my Slurpuff, and I was fighting a Klingklang on a Factory Field, I believe... it was also 2-3 levels lower than I was, if I remember right.

Do you remember if it used shift gear?
Outside Indoorsman 16
I'm pretty sure that it didn't. Just Gear Grind on its first turn - it went first, there went Slurpuff.
Plok 293
Could you please test it out again with wild pokemon and other trainers (try the ones in grand hall). I've tested this against alakazam and my slurpuff outspeed it on 2nd turn
