All bugs found in my playthrough are referent to the Community Release or version 16.1.1. Please disregard anything that has already been patched up in 16.2.

 

I had all bugs found in my playthrough sorted by different categories, some of them I'm unsure which sub-forum or thread they belong, so please forgive me for not sorting them properly.

 

 

1. Game stops for a little bit when walking into a new "seamless" area (especially Opal, but also noticeable in other areas)


2. Player movement is faster than NPC, causes bumping every now and then when trailing NPCs during cutscenes (couldn't capture it properly, but you can run a new game and see how he follows Victoria in the very beginning of the game)

3. Pressing arrow keys in the quicksave prompt triggers player movement animation

4. Can't fish if the water body is south, client is checking the ledge tile in front (image refers to an Old Rod usage)

5. Some AI movement in "cutscenes" pass through an ally you're teamed up with. The code probably only accounts for the player itself and not for its company on the movement algorithm


6. NPCs sometimes don't appear in the map. Entering a door briefly shows them and then they appear normally after reentering the area


7. I can jump Route 1 and Aventurine ledges from both ways after dismounting a Tauros

8. Sky Drop will sometimes lock the battle and not allow me to pick any abilities. During this time, all attacks towards me will also fail


9. Escape Rope/Dig in a strength puzzle will leave certain triggers in a different position than the intended initial scenario


10. Could not use Ether during combat, game prompted me to pick a move, when I chose the 0/10 one, it prompted me again, showing it at 10/10. Picking the same move over and over would bring the message that it won't have any effect, but the move was still at 0/10 afterwards. Picking another move would restore that move, however


11. You can move into the Crustle spawning area while he pops out. Passing through him will sometimes make him non-interactable unless you have a rage powder

12. On short diagonal stairs, going backwards in a staircase leaves me unable to proceed

13. The game allows for movement input during area entrance/exit black screens, for example, pushing up/down in the Peridot Aquarium will basically be a long black screen and the user will not see the small area in between


14. In Vanhanen Castle, all input is prevented when traversing its rooms. For a longer period of time than I would hope though...


15. Titania turns the water on if you move to jump left through this tile, the water is not turned off later if you proceed forward, you have to go back and hit the leftmost tile and then go on

16. Transitioning to E16 in the Big Top has a long loading black screen delay


17. Youngster in Peridot can be interacted by walking into, no 'z' input required

18. You can jump out of surf weirdly into Peridot

19. There are 22+ foongus and amoonguss. This guy's counter goes to negative and doesn't trigger sidequest sucess (Azurine Lake renovation after beating Adrienn)

20. Loading up saves with day/night events can put the PC in improper positions (notice a NPC right under the PC)
