Outside Indoorsman 16
The problem is what it says above; for some reason, it seems that Hidden Power isn't doing as much damage as it is technically supposed to (for example, my LV 58 Noivern hit a lv 60 Charizard in the low yellow with a Water-type hidden power, failed to knock it out). Also, i'm pretty sure my Slurpuff's HP isn't doing as much damage as it was supposed to... maybe i'm just barking up the wrong tree, but it seems worth looking at.
ZEL 349
If you're unsure how much damage your 'mon should do to another, you could try using this damage calculator. https://pokemonshowdown.com/damagecalc/ It lets you set levels, EVs, IVs etc., so you should be able to get relatively reliable results. 0 SpA Noivern Hidden Power Water vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Charizard: 56-68 (34.3 - 41.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO 252 SpA Noivern Hidden Power Water vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Charizard: 84-100 (51.5 - 61.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO Don't forget to keep in mind field effects, weather and items, either - a field or sunny weather to weaken water attacks can be a real pain! Developers Marcello 436 Posted February 7, 2017 Developers Share Posted February 7, 2017 Unless there are further reports or confirmation/clarification from anyone, I'm going to work under the assumption that this is not a bug, because a brief look showed no reason there would be any power issue with hidden power.
