[Not a bug]Black Belt boost more than Toxic Orb?

This might be a very minor thing to dwell about, but toxic orb supposed to boost damage by 30% while black belt boost fighting moves by 20% correct?

 

I tried both item using high jump kick on the mega blastoise at the grandhall trainer.

 

After around 10 times test with each item, I found out that blackbelt managed to OHKO the mega blastoise, or if not leaving it with a thread of HP (one tick of weather hazard is enough to kill it)

 

Meanwhile when I was using toxic orb, it never OHKO except when it crits. Usually leaves the blastoise at around 2 burn-ticks.

 

Im using Medicham with 252 attack EV in this test. So is this a bug? Or is there a different damage calculation?

Toxic orb doesn't boost your damage at all. It only poisons you at the end of each turn. You're confusing it with life orb I think.

Toxic Orb and Flame Orb can cause some enhancement to your damage done but only on the strict condition the holder has an ability like Guts which empowers it due to a status ailment present, or in move cases Façade, it doesn't directly increase damage like the Life Orb but it starts the reaction in some cases
