All party pokemon levelled up to level 100

So me and my friend decided to try out the online battles. We tried to set it up, by letting me wait for a challenger. When I got a challenge, I accepted it and a trade screen opened. ( I dont know if my friend sent me a trade request at this point.) The trade screen showed all of our pokemon in level 100. Nothing happened afterwards, so I just pressed X to exit to try again. This time we got into a battle, and the battle went on as normal, until my friend exited the game at his last pokemon. Then my game froze, but didnt really freeze if that makes sense, so I exited it after some time. When I opened the game again, and checked my party all my pokemon was level 100.

 

Visited my friend today, and I can confirm that his pokemon was not levelled up to level 100 after the match.

i had a battle on the online mode and finish the battle without any problems but when i see my team outside of the online mode they were all at lvl 100 :s

Thank you for reporting. Post your save file if you want your pokemon lvl changed.

could you give us more info if there were some problems in battle. did someone exit the battle, did screen get stuck on waiting?

this was my first time in the online battle mode, the battle was normal, we choose no field, i recive the challage and i won the battle, the other person get the pokemon back to they normal lvl

but before the battle i recive a trade request from them, at first i accept it but when i noticed it was for trade i though it was a mistake and hit x to leave the trade and go to waiting challage again, maybe the problem was there? i didn't see my team so maybe they got lvl 100 at that moment? i could ask the other person if they send a trade by mistake

This just happened to me too

I played around 4 consecutive online battles last night and didn't bother checking my team then

Today I played two battles with the same team. When I went to switch my team up a bit, I realized that they were all level 100

Ah I saw this topic a while back and forgot to post. While the vast majority of cases of this happening have been eliminated, recieving Trade Requests when waiting for Battle eill cause this issue and (as far as I know) as the only thing that can cause this at current. Recieving a battle request while waiting for a trade will cause similarly bad issues, crashing the game after the battle if I'm not mistaken (or perhaps worse, ruining your team, I have yet to check.)

 

I will fix this but for now Please only send Battle/Trade requests to people who are waiting for the appropriate thing, otherwise bad things happen, tbh.
