[Not a bug]Fields out of sync

So, this happened:

I assume they are different fields, right?

 

It's even reproducable:

1. Start battle with Water Surface field

2. Use Blizzard

3. Use Lava Plume

 

More details:

-I was the challenger

-my opponent chose the field

-I used Blizzard and he used Lava Plume

-after first attack, both fields correctly became icy

-then my field transformed into no-field, while his transformed into obsidian

It might be that it was because you were both on difirent locations? Seeing the obsidian makes me assume that side was in Pre-ep16 reborn city where as the other side wasn't

From what I know, both of those backgrounds are just generic battlegrounds and not a special field, so the difference does nothing.

It might be this. I already finished the game, while my opponent is still around ep3 content.

I didn't know this, so it was quite confusing.

These are indeed generic backgrounds for where there is no field, just different locations with no field (This is actually the difference between indoors no field and outdoors no field). Thus this would have no effect on the battle itself and is not a bug.
