So I've only played E16 for a little bit and my game had been slower than what I was used to, but now my game has frozen. I was trying to talk to two of the younger boys in central Peridot while it was snowing. It froze mid-sentence. Now every time I turn on the game I'm stuck facing the boy, the snow is falling, the music is playing, but I can't move, interact, or pull up the menu. Any advice anyone? Also, if Amethyst is reading this you should know that you are much loved and appreciated for this update and game. I've only played it a little before it froze, but I already love everything about it (especially the happier sounding versions of the old music. That's a nice touch. I also really appreciate the social effects of the renovations and the shifting class antagonisms that exist as a result. Exquisite touch.) Link to post Share on other sites

I had really just entered the city and didn't feel I had made enough progress to do a backup for E16 yet. Is it possible to load my E15 and go from there somehow? Link to post Share on other sites

If there isn't a save to fix, the troubleshooting can't do much. Btw, the second you open the game again, go to Options and pick how many backups you want to have made by the backup save system. Heust Blade 0 Posted December 17, 2016 Author Share Posted December 17, 2016 The E15 file isn't working. I'm afraid it thinks I'm in the new Peridot, which it can't handle. I forgot to mention that when it was freezing, it asked to save the game on the spot because of a hanging script. So my only save file for E16 is the one where I'm frozen in Peridot :/ I also see the backup option now. How does it work? Link to post Share on other sites

The rest of the files are backups, you can figure out which is the most recent. I accidently deleted my frozen game file instead of uploading it here, but it's ok. All I did was explore and catch maybe three new pokemon. I will definitely remember all this! Thanks again!
