[E16] In battle item cancelling

Everytime I select to use an item in a pokemon during battle (like a potion or something), but then instead of using it, If I press X to cancel it (after selecting it) the game displays an error message and the image gets stuck in my party screen for a while, but it's just the screen, I can actually battle and stuff except the image displayed is my party and not the battle. And then it goes back to the battle but it's all black.

 

 

 

 

 

PS in the test above I was in the Peridot Ward basement where wild Purrloin spawn

This is one of the known bugs, I'm not sure if it was supposed to be fixed for e16

All bugs were supposed to be fixed by e16, so yes. This one was too.

 

Seems to be an issue with a part of the items class that I distinctively recall that either I or Marcello originally fixed - Either the fix was overriten by someone mis-managing the development versions of e16 or it's a new error. Either way, it'll be looked into.

If I'm not mistaken it was me that fixed this one I vaguely remember doing it.

 

 

Anyway, I have looked into this and have in no way been able to replicate it, and looking at the code have found nothing wrong. In fact, the line numbers in your error message seem more than a little off so I have to ask: Are you CERTAIN that you are playing E16, because it looks to me like you are playing E15.
