Dshuks 0
So I've download all of the previous episodes before since 10. With those I haven't had any problems except for a couple of times where the game would freeze , every once in a long while. That was fine as it did not happen often enough to be bothersome. Now it seems every major battle the game will freeze , and I will get the script hanging alert.. For most of the battles in episode 16 I've been able to eventually get through the battles, but for the meteor boss battle of the episode I can never get through it without the scrip hanging error, which is annoying as I have a team thats good enough to beat that boss easily . Again this is not a problem I have had with the previous episodes. Is there anything I can do?
Plok 293
Ep 16 has changed a lot of things including adding animations in battles so that the reason you get script hanging errors. I'm sorry but there's not much that we can do about playing the game on mac because it emulates on Wine. Theres lag even on PC
GreedyWizard 0
I had the same issue on the member release version. If you re-download the public release, the lag becomes a minor nuisance. I can now get through fights with no problem!

Dai Laughing 16
I too am attempting to play the game on a Mac, and agree that it is now unplayable. Script error pretty much every battle. I tried removing the animation file and even the audio. This helps somewhat but I still have very laggy battles and frequent complete freezes. Such a shame because I love this game so much. Re: Script hanging during battles on Mac. With some perseverance I have managed to get past Julia on my Mac. The only way to complete the battles is do do so slowly and patiently. Pause for a few seconds before pressing anything to allow the script to catch up. A good marker is to watch the 'bobbing' of the pokemon, they should be bobbing up and down with good tempo. If they are bobbing slowly, then you must wait until the script catches up and they speed up. I have found that by doing this you can complete the battles, albeit slowly and the crashes are less frequent. I know this is a pain but it is better than not playing Pokemon Reborn. Plok 293
Did you try disabling the animation in battles? You can do that in options

You can do that in options I completely removed the battle animations folder, but it made little difference. I'll try going to options and disabling as you suggested. I have found however that the game is playable so long as you wait for the script to catch up in between making moves, you just need a little patience. Tried the disabling battle animations from the options, worked a treat, thank you.
WujiKyurem 24
I tried starting up a Water Monotype run on Mac a little over a month ago. Definitely one of the most enfuriating experiences I've ever had. I defeated Julia at least 5 times. When I say that, I mean the match was over in every sense except for her last Pokemon fainting. All I had to do was hit Electrode with a Quick Attack or Water Pulse from Frogadier. Sometimes it would be the animation for Quick Attack that hung, sometimes the one for Charge, or sometimes something else. There must've been 5 or more hanging script errors when I practically had one foot out the door with my Volt Badge and lost for literally no reason other than the script error. One time, the script actually hung on Electrode's FAINTING ANIMATION. I stopped using that Mac entirely for a couple of weeks after that ._. Thankfully we have the Public Release now, which would make things just a bit easier should I continue.
